One World. One Life. No Mercy.
RIFTSCAPE runs Sulfuria — a 100-day hardcore Factions gauntlet where custom Fabric mods, zombie hordes, and rival factions decide who's still standing on Day 100.
The Riftscape Vision
Most servers pick a lane: sandbox survival or competitive PvP. Riftscape refuses to choose. Every season drops you into a hand-built world with a hardcore modded ecosystem, a ticking clock, and one life to make your mark. Factions aren't a plugin feature here — they're the only thing standing between you and the horde. Build alliances you can trust, because on Sulfuria, betrayal kills you just as fast as a zombie swarm.
A brutal island. A short clock. No room for weakness.
Sulfuria is a 100-day hardcore survival gauntlet where every decision matters. The island is hostile, the timing is unforgiving, and the difference between survival and disaster is often a matter of preparation, teamwork, and nerve. If you are stepping in, learn the systems early, respect the clock, and treat the wiki as your survival manual.
Entry & Expectations
- ◆All enrolling survivors must be 18 or older.
- ◆All sales are final — there are no refunds or exceptions.
- ◆Voice chat is required to join the server experience.
World Setup
- ◆Players spawn randomly across the island, so early survival is always a gamble.
- ◆Teams of 2–5 players can assemble and coordinate together.
- ◆Official factions require 6 or more members and must control at least 4 chunks of land to be recognized.
Survival Pressure
- ◆Zombie spawn rates gradually increase across the 100-day timeline.
- ◆The wiki is the source of truth for survival and custom mechanics.
- ◆Avoid the new INFECTION status effect. If it takes hold, it will eventually kill the player unless treated using the custom methods explained in the wiki.
Hardcore Survival Systems
- ◆Tough as Nails is installed, so temperature and thirst matter just as much as food and armor.
- ◆Every choice has consequence in a world built for survival, adaptation, and long-term planning.
- ◆Refer to the roadmap on how the environment will change over the 100-day timeline, and how to prepare for each phase.
Factions & Warfare
Claim land, fortify your base, and go to war on your terms. Raid rival factions for their resources, or band together to survive the horde. Every claim is contested. Every ally is a gamble.
Hardcore Modded Ecosystem
Built on an optimized Fabric server hierarchy with custom data packs tuned for brutal survival — proximity voice chat, escalating zombie hordes, rebalanced combat. Progression is earned, not handed out.
Chart the World
Six charted biomes, faction claims, and landmarks — scout Sulfuria from your browser before you set foot on it. Ground-level reports update as the map is explored.
How Sulfuria Unfolds
Six phases, one countdown. Here's what to expect between spawn and sundown.
Drop In
The world goes live, enrollment locks, and factions begin to form and claim territory.
Foundations
Gather loot, choose your allies, and make your claim on the map before the good land is gone.
Territory Wars
Land Claims become contestable. Faction raids become legal. Zombie hordes start scaling with server population.
The Long Night
Mod-driven threats intensify, resources thin out, and extra lives start actually mattering.
Endgame Sieges
Factions consolidate or collapse. Final raids target whoever's still holding territory.
Sundown
The challenge ends. Survivors are immortalized on the leaderboard, the world is archived, and Riftscape resets for the next season.
Exact milestone dates confirm in Discord as Day 0 approaches — this roadmap sets expectations, not a patch schedule.
Fair Play, Real Stakes
Permadeath only works if everyone's playing by the same rules. Riftscape runs active staff coverage, server-side anti-cheat, and zero tolerance for exploits — because losing your one life to a hacker isn't hardcore, it's just broken. Bring your best strategy. We'll make sure it's a fair fight.
